Phil Saint, marketing manager of Globo Balear, which produces Pirates Adventure, said they were “amazed” by the amount of seats sold for the first performance.

During April, the Pirates Adventure will be staged twice a week on Wednesday and Friday evening, offering residents who normally work throughout the main summer season, the chance to see the show.

Plans are also well underway for the 2009 Pirates Adventure Charity Premiere, which takes place on Saturday May 2.
