AROUND 2'000 students from the 29 Balearic centres of Secondary Education yesterday visited the Balearic University (UIB) campus as part of the “Go to University” programme. The aim of this programme is to help students choose which courses they will study in the 2006-2007 academic year.
According to the UIB the students were accompanied by their teachers to the Ramon Llull building on the University campus, from where they were taken on a tour of the University. After they were given informative brochures, they were able to take part in an informal chat about the structure of the courses.
