Opposition officials have slammed the local council for its “lack of common sense” after their poor timing to start improvements to cycle paths in Son Servera.

Jaume Servera, spokesman for the Partido Popular added that “no one can understand how a project that should have started six years ago is only moving forward now when the tourism season is in full flow causing disturbances not only to tourists but to the locals as well.” He continued by adding that the project “shows clear poor management from the council” and that is causing “chaos” on the sea front.” The PP also accused the Socialists of carrying out other projects “without a proper license,” describing it as a “serious offense.”
