CONTROVERSY continues to surround Seda, the Erotic Fair which opened at the Ifebal premises on Wednesday afternoon, and deputy leader Rosa Estaras has been given the task of discovering whether it has been erotic or pornographic. If the latter, the organisers will allegedly have breached their rental contract for the Government-owned precinct near the GESA building.
Estaras said that if this turns out to be the case, the government “will make the decisions it has to make” without going into further details.
On Tuesday, the government had threatened to cancel the fair, which the organisers reportedly wanted to turn Majorca into the “porn capital,” but relented when an agreement was reached to tone down the shows. Estaras, who will make a decision at the end of the fair, admitted that she was not in favour of this type of event, saying that they are not good “either for men or for women,” although she said that people should “not close their eyes to reality.” In addition to stands, there will be 200 shows and films at the fair, which is being attended by top porn stars.
