Palma. The crack down on crime in Magalluf continues and on Monday night, the Local Police arrested six people for various crimes.
Two illegal Senegalese street traders were arrested for peddling drugs while four Nigerian women were detained for street prostitution and mugging.
The two street vendors were caught red handed dealing drugs to a group of foreign tourists.
The prostitutes were caught just moments later in two different locations.
The first was arrested as she was trying to rob a drunken tourist.
The other three were arrested after the theft of an Iphone 4 by three Nigerian prostitutes was reported to the Local Police.
After having spoken to a number of eye witnesses the Local Police managed to locate the three suspects and arrest them.
They too face charges of mugging in tourist areas and the battle to keep these organised gangs under control continues.
