Soller.—Cleaning company Acciona SU said yesterday that given its failure to reach agreement with the local council over the 3 million euros that the company is owed for the past three years' work, there will be no rubbish collection in Soller this Monday.

However, a local union representative said that although the company can no longer pay its staff, they will not lose their jobs but in the meantime collect unemployment benefit, topped up by the company.
