MALLORCA Rocks Hotel saw over 4000 fans bouncing to the sound of the UK's number one selling artist and Mercury Prize 2010 favourite Dizzee Rascal on Monday night.
Following the warm up acts from Smurfie Syco , Colin Peters and new up and coming DJs the crowd was worked into a frenzy by one highly enthusiastic guest working some of his best dance moves on his first floor balcony. Throughout the downpour of rain this young man kept the crowd going until the long awaited Dizzee Rascal took to the stage and a clear sky set the scene for what was no doubt the performances of the summer. Sporting a bright yellow Lakers outfit, Dizzee had the crowd going crazy with his best selling hits such as his Shout out video, with James Corden for the World Cup, which ended up being a winner as a majority of the crowd were wearing his England football shirt with Rascal printed on the back.
Mallorca Rocks Hotel organised yet another successful concert following their previous acts of the Kooks, Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah and the Courteeners.
Although Dizzee had an immensely hectic and energetic night on Monday, he had to bring it all together again last night when he performed in Ibiza at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel.
But we are sure it would not have been too hard for him as he has written a chart topping hit Holiday about his love for the island.
Mallorca Rocks Hotel's last act on their first season in Magalluf is going to be Pendulum, who will grace the stage on the 6th of September for the hotel's closing party which I am sure will be another brilliant concert to end the summer.
