World Summer Festival today at Son Moix

THE first edition of the “World Summer Festival” will be celebrated today under the slogan “There is only one race, the human race”.
According to the organisers, some 3'000 people are expected to gather at the Son Moix cycle track for the event, which will have performances from the musical groups, Macaco, Vaudi and Dinamo. The object of this event is to send out a message of respect for the diversity of multiculturalism. The event has been organised by the Balearic Ministry of Immigration and Cooperation, which has given 12'000 euros to the event, which also has the collaboration of Palma council, who gave the site for the event. The concerts begin at 10pm and the ticket price is 25 euros, with a discount of 3 euros if bought in advance.
Macaco who, thanks to their personal fusion of latin music with reggae, hip hop and funk, amongst others, have become the most emblematic band of this “crossbreeding”, will for two hours perform their latest recording “Ingravitto”.
