The Chairman of News Corp. Rupert Mudoch, is in Majorca holding talks with the editor of one of Spain´s leading newspapers, El Mundo, at his Majorca home. Murdoch arrived aboard a luxury yacht and was ferried ashore to the home of newspaper executive Pedro J. Ramirez. Yesterday, it was widely rumoured in Spain that Murdoch had been offered the El Mundo newspaper group which also includes the top selling soccer newspaper, Marca, and other TV interests. Murdoch is accompanied on the trip by Robert Thomson, a News Corp. executive amd his wife. Yesterday, it appeared that talks were continuing.
