THE Port Authority is seeking tenders for the construction and running of a terminal for the golondrinas, the boats which offer tours of the bay, its president Joan Verger announced yesterday. Plans call for two small buildings of 180 square metres each, and a parking area by the Auditorium.
One of the buildings will house the service area and ticket sales, while the second will be used as a bar.
The concession will be for a period of 15 years.
The successful bidder must have a minimum capital of 75'000 euros and pay the Port Authority 45'000 euros.
The project will call for an estimated outlay of 400'000 euros.
