Palma.—Balearic union bosses unanimously pledged that there will be no more industrial action by coach drivers this summer after another round of talks with coach company managers in Palma yesterday.

But, negotiations over improved pay and working conditions remain in a deadlock and the two sides have agreed to sit down again at the end of the month and try and thrash out a satisfactory agreement again
The drivers want a 3.2 percent pay rise, but it appears that the Federation of Balearic Transport Companies are standing their ground.
Yesterday, Federation chief Salvador Servera said that the problem does not lie with them but the unions who can not reach an agreement amongst themselves.
