Palma.—The Council is giving advance notice to drivers that resurfacing work will be starting on the section of the bicycle lane in the Avenidas running in the direction of the sea from Monday. Tarmacking will start where Avenida Alemanya joins Calle Baron de Pinopar and continue down as far as Calle Sindicat.

This section is due to be complete on Wednesday but the following day, 1st September, resurfacing will start along Via Portugal from Baron de Pinopar as far as Calle Ruben Dario.

Whilst work is in progress, only two lanes for traffic will be available on that side of the Avenidas explained the Transport department.
The alternative routes for the now disused stretch of cycle lane are already built.
