THE Pollensa area will be hosting the Escarrinxo Reggaefestival tomorrow, which will be full to the brim with reggae and other types of musical groups, such as Dub Invaders, Naraina and Reggaelution. This musical event, which aims to convert Pollensa into the Balearic Jamaica, will be held at the Ca'n Escarrinxo football field, and entrance to the festival will cost 12 euros, said a spokesperson from the organisation yesterday. As well as the reggae music, there will also be a stage dedicated to electronic music, with sounds by Dj Patako, Dj Norai and Dj Lau Sound System.
In addition, people will be able to watch the screening of films by Marti Canaves and Miquel Norai, on the subjects of Mali and the Masai tribe in South Africa, respectively.
