In a joint operation between the National Police and the Local Police, 10 people were arrested along the Playa de Palma for being in the country illegally.
The arrests came as part of another crackdown on crime in the resort and 58 illegal street vendors were fined.
The police also seized numerous items from the illegal street vendors which they were sifting through yesterday in a bid to establish their origin and that many were counterfeit items.
The Playa de Palma has been in the eye of the storm this year from petty crime, race riots and clashes between the police and illegal street traders which has caught the attention of the German media.
