An 18-year-old British holiday maker became the eighth Briton to have fallen from a balcony since the start of last month, fortunately unlike two of his fellow countrymen, he escaped with his life and was being treated in Son Espases Hospital yesterday.
The incident happened at 4.50am at a block of apartments in Avenida Magaluf.
The Guardia Civil, Local Police and paramedics rushed to the scene where the Briton had fallen 11 metres from a third floor balcony.
It was immediately clear that he had broken an arm, and suffered multiple injuries.
He was conscious and apparently could not stop yelling out “I love you” to his girlfriend.
