Palmanova Guardia Civil are continuing with their investigation into the seizure of half a kilo of CO “Angel dust” and the arrest of a 25-year-old Briton who is suspected of dealing the drug across the island. He was ordered to be held on remand in Palma prison yesterday.
The Guardia Civil had been monitoring the activities of the suspect for some time and in the early hours of Saturday morning arrested him in Punta Ballena. He was found in the possession of 15 grams of cocaine and 15 grams of Angel dust.
Then later on Saturday afternoon, the Guardia Civil searched the suspect’s home in Santa Ponsa and seized a further 500 grams of Angel dust, 100 grams of hashish, 50 viagra tablets, ecstasies, 15,000 euros in cash and 5,000 pounds.
Police said yesterday that further arrests will probably be made over the coming days as they continued with the investigation.
