GUARDIA Civil in Llucmajor arrested two young men yesterday, 18-year-old Aitor R.A. and 20-year-old Alejandro L.B. along with others who were under-aged for alleged incidences of breaking and entering in residential areas of Llucmajor.
A statement issued by the Police department confirmed that operation code-named Ripollet begun two months ago due to the high number of complaints that were being made by people living in the Tolleric-El Dorado housing complex in the district. Robbers were apparently first entering the property by climbing over walls or fencing into the grounds and then once inside the complex, forcing entry into apartments through the windows. When officers visited the addresses given by the detainees as their place of abode, investigators found electronic devices, cameras and tools to the value of around 11'000 euros.
