Inter Eco Tur project closure

THE Foundation for the Sustainable Development of the Balearics is holding the closing ceremonies (today and tomorrow) for the European project “Inter Eco Tur”. The purpose of the project is to try to improve conditions in the areas taking part with regard to tourism from the perspective of environmental protection. According to Balearic Government sources, the Minister of Economy, Taxation and Innovation, Luis Ramis de Ayreflor, inaugurated the series of closing acts, during which he presented the results of the collaboration between Italy, Greece and Spain. The initiative, which is part of the “Interreg IIIC” programme, had the participation of international teams such as the Deputation of Lucca, the University of La Coruña and the University of Florence's Biological Department.
