Palma.—The five Palma-based Spanish associates of the German Hells Angels gang dismantled on the island this summer, were yesterday ordered to be held on remand in Palma prison and denied bail.

In July police arrested the suspected European leader of the Hells Angels here on the island and the investigation has been ongoing ever since.

"This cell, made up of five members, was dedicated to supplying the Hells Angels with cocaine from Latin America which they smuggled onto the mainland," police said in a statement.
