Red Cross solidarity fun at two Sol Melia hotels

TWO hotels in Magalluf, the Sol Jamaica and the Sol Trinidad, held a solidarity festival yesterday to raise money for the Balearic Red Cross social programmes. From 10 in the morning guests from these two hotels and from other hotels in the surrounding area joined in with the many events which were on offer.
These events included bingo, auctions and raffles, as well as market stalls selling commemorative articles for the event and a huge paella for all to enjoy, and to benefit the Red Cross charity. The Balearic Red Cross said that each year there are around 59'000 people on the islands who are at risk from social exclusion.
