THE former Balearic Minister for Commerce, Industry and Energy, Josep Cardona, on whose watch this latest case of alleged misappropriation of public funds apparently took place yesterday denied all knowledge of any wrong doing. Cardona, who was appointed by President Jaume Matas, said that any mishandling of public funds should have shown up in the regular audits but, if the charges are proved true, then he said the law must be enforced and justice allowed to do its job.
