POLLENSA
RESIDENTS in the Port of Pollensa have decided to take legal action in their battle against the new road scheme introduced in the Port this week.
Residents' Association leader Dr Gary Bonsall has apparently been forced to take such decisive action because he feels his 250-strong residents' group has nowhere else to go in their fight against the Port of Pollensa road plan and, if the battle continues, widespread protest action is not being ruled out next summer.
The new scheme sees traffic banned from the port's promenade and diverted through narrow side streets - potentially putting pedestrians, especially wheelchair and push chair users in danger.
