Six new cars ruined by fire

IN the early hours of yesterday morning, Palma's Emergency Fire Services were called to a parking lot in the Can Mateu industrial estate, where six new cars without number plates were ablaze. Sources close to the Fire Services said that the fires had started about three o'clock in the morning and it would appear they had been started deliberately as the perimeter fence of the installations had been opened. At the time of the alleged arson attack, more than 600 vehicles were stationed on the parking lot.
