Fifty percent airline discounts

AT the Parliament meeting held yesterday, it was unanimously agreed to insist that the Balearic Government negotiates with the central government to change and improve the current airline discounts. Residents should be offered a 50 percent discount on all flights between the Balearic Islands and also for trips to the mainland, the conclusion from Parliament stated. This initiative corresponds to two proposals from the Majorcan Socialist party (PSM). In total there were 222 proposals forwarded by different parliamentary groups during the debates on the Autonomous Statute.
