THE used homes for sale in the Balearic Islands are the fourth most expensive in Spain, carrying an average cost of 286'700 euros.
This is according to the latest study released by the internet based estate agent expocasa.com, entitled Used homes in Spain 2005.
The average used home for sale on the islands is a flat with three bedrooms, 126 square metres and a cost that is over 286'000 euros.
This amount is lower than homes for sale in the Basque region (383'600 euros), Madrid (357'400 euros) and Catalonia (291'900 euros), although higher than the Spanish average (220.400 euros). The cheapest used homes can be found in Navarra for 257'900 euros, Valencia for 218'400 euros, Aragon for 199'000 euros, Asturias for 179'400 euros and Extremadura for 122'400 euros, according to the survey.
