THE deputy mayor of Palma City Coucil, Javier Rodrigo de Santos, and the Manager of the Municipal Company for Works and Projects, Gloria Penalva, will meet with representatives from the Spanish Airport Authorities (AENA) in Madrid on Monday. The meeting is aimed at discussing the Noise Isolation Plan for those areas which are affected by the noise from the Palma airport.
They will also take advantage of their trip to Madrid by meeting with the Secretary General for Land and Biodiversity, to deliver a new proposal. This proposal aims at substituting the finance for the construction works of the future Sa Riera carpark for other more environmental considerations.
