NONE of the major UK tour firms will have a programme to Majorca for a spell during the second half of this winter.
For the first time since package tours began, potential tourists will not be able to enter their local travel agent to book a holiday to the island. TUI UK, the only major operator still offering winter trips to Majorca, is halting its programme from January 8 to the end of February as it scales down its low season capacity..
