Palma.—The Balearic government yesterday refused to get drawn into a debate over the two recent protests in favour and against the TILtrilingual programme which teachers went on strike over for nearly four weeks, prolonging the start of this new school term.
While nearly 100,000 took part in a demonstration against TIL, 1,000 turned out for a pro-TIL protest in the Plaza Mayor on Sunday.
