THE threat of further storms and heavy rain did not disuade Harley Davidson riders from across the island and parts of the mainland from gathering to mark the fourth birthday of the Majorcan Harley Davidson Club yesterday . Riders from Sineu, Manacor, Alcudia and all across Majorca were joined by Harley club members from Barcelona, Galicia, Castilla-Leon, Castellon and as far afield as Andalucia at the rally which started in the car park in front of the commercial docks. From there, the convoy of Harleys set off for Alcudia and over the next few days will be touring the island as part of the HDC's birthday celebrations. And while the Harley clubs were cruising across the island up to Alcudia, the Son Ferriol 95 motor club met at Western Park to start its annual three-day Fiesta Brava yesterday. Over the long weekend, they will be driving up to Bellver Castle where they with be met by the Mayor of Palma.
