Unions and Red Cross staff join forces to avoid closure of medical centre in Palma

Palma.—The Balearic Workers’ Union has this week decided to launch a petition  on several social media websites  to prevent the closure of the Red Cross’s hospital in Palma.
Eighty five medical staff could lose their jobs if the hospital closes and the Union, which has so far collected over 1,500 signatures,  insists the government must try to reach an agreement with the association.
