A FREE minibus service should be provided between the provisional train station to Plaza de España in Palma, said the municipal EU-EV political party (United Left-Greens). This will make the journey easier for the elderly and disabled passengers, a party spokesman added.
The provisional station is a sorry state of affairs he said, adding that the party considers it uncomfortable and narrow.
The station does not display sufficient train information and the exit to the station is badly designed, he added.
The provisional station is to be used by train passengers for one or two years, whilst work to the underground train is being completed, and because of this long period of time these problems should be addressed now, the party said. The free minibus service between the provisional train station and Plaza España should be co-financed by Palma city council and the Balearic Government, the spokesman said.
