Curtain up for pantomime to boost winter programme of entertainment

CALVIA
MAJORCA'S winter entertainment programme will be boosted by a traditional pantomime.
Local theatre group The Bay Entertainers will be producing Jack and the Beanstalk at Calvia's Sa Societat teatro.
There will be five performances of the show from the opening night on Thursday January 15 to a matinee on Sunday January 18.
The group is already in full rehearsals for the production and awaiting the delivery of costumes before the final run-up to the shows.
The cast and backstage crew is made up of UK and Spanish residents. The group normally produces two shows every year - a pantomime and a summer production.
