Pollensa council may allow staged rate payments

At a meeting next week, Pollensa council is to debate whether local residents should be allowed to pay municipal taxes in stages so as to help them financially at a time of crisis, the Tax department said. The scheme would take into account the economic resources of individual families so they can budget in months their rates are due.
