The PP claims the Balearics is better off than it was a year ago

On the eve of today’s state of the region debate in Parliament, the Partido Popular’s parliamentary spokesperson, Mabel Cabrer, said that the PP’s balance for this year “is a positive one”, although she did add that there is still lots of work to be done in the coming year.
However, she said that the Balearics ended last year “in the red” but the PP government has managed to turn that around since the start of the year and the economic outlook is looking much more  encouraging.
Looking back to when the PP returned to power two-and-a-half years ago, Cabrer said that the Balearics  was in a “disasterous” situation.
