A SUPREME Court in Germany prohibited the publication of plans of villas owned by famous people yesterday, following the case of two television presenters who turned to the law courts when a gossip magazine printed aerial photographs and access plans of their houses on Majorca. The German tribunal, located in Karlsruhe, nevertheless authorised the publication of aerial photographs, but prohibited making public any access plans to these properties. The court ruled that the liberty of the Press didn't justify the publication of plans of properties belonging to famous TV and cinema personalities and stated that in the case of one of the presenters, publication of access route plans could only lead to his privacy at his property on Majorca being invaded by the public.
