THE Baleart 2006 craft fair ended on Sunday after being open to the public for nine days, during which the organisers calculate that some 24'000 people have visited the Fair. This was the same number as visited last year's edition. The Fires i Congressos de Balears, who are responsible for the organisation of the Fair, said that the organisation is very satisfied with the amount of visitors recorded, as well as with the quality of the products on display to the public. The organisation went on to say that the demonstrations given by the craftspeople were one of the most attractive aspects of this year's edition of the Baleart Fair. The organisation said that this year 128 exhibitors had taken part.
They added that the majority of those taking part were from the Balearics. However, there were a few companies and craftsmen from Murcia, Asturias and Galicia also taking part this year.
Baleart had around 24´000 visitors
