CALVIA Mayor Carlos Delgado, is not going to have an easy ride getting the municipality's 2009 budget approved this week with severe criticism forthcoming yesterday from Majorca Unionist (UM) Party spokesman Isidre Cañellas.

UM are claiming that Delgado “doesn't have any idea” of how to best invest money which is allocated to Calvia from central government, the Balearic government and the Council of Majorca, or how to use funds from the sale of land in the district which amounts to 21.6 million euros.
