Cava bottles to raise money

THE Balearic Foundation PIME yesterday launched the seventh edition of the “Kings of Glass” campaign which will run until January 5.
They expect to amass 31'000 euros by collecting empty cava bottles for recycling.
The money will go to the toy workshop run by Caritas.
The President of the Fundacion PIME Baleares, Tomas Garrido, explained that they wanted citizens to take their empty cava bottles to the headquarters of the Fundacion Deixalles or to participating centres instead of putting them in the bin. He said that for every five glass containers, the toy workshop will receive 1 euro.
