THE price of renting a home in the Balearics rose three percent in November compared with the month before.
With this figure, the total rise over the first 11 months of the year also comes to three percent. However, the rise in the last 12 months has reached 3.4 percent, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). This is below the national average rise which is 4.3 percent. The Balearics is sixth in the table of regions where these prices rose during the last year. The lowest is Navarra (2 percent), followed by Cantabria (2.5 percent), then the Canaries (2.6 percent), Castilla and Leon (2.8 percent) and Galicia (3.3 percent).
