Palma.—The Balearic Ministry for tourism said yesterday that they had carried out 118 tourism promotion drives during 2013, an increase of 97 percent on 2012.
The ministry said that eventhough their budget had been reduced they had managed to carry out more promotion activities at a fraction of the cost. This year the Balearic Ministry for tourism attended a total of twenty major fairs and 26 specialised fairs.
