Palma.—The Guardia Civil has opened a homicide investigation into the death of a 78-year-old Swiss resident who died on Wednesday in Son Espases Hospital as a result of the severe injuries suffered when robbers broke into his house in Pollensa on the morning of 27 December.
Kurt Schwab, who lived with his 76-year-old Spanish wife in Cami de Siller, also known as Carrer de l’Anfos, had just disconnected the alarm in order to pop out of the front gate to collect the newspaper.
