Andraitx.—Police in Andraitx yesterday came across an alarming illegal rubbish dump in the Monport area, after following up complaints and reports from local neighbours.
Locals reported to the authorities that more than once they saw a van arriving in the area and just dump its rubbish in the area.
A police patrol went to Monport and confirmed the situation was getting out of control, with rubbish bags and boxes all over the place.
