Palma.—Balearic environmental group GOB yesterday lodged a criminal complaint against Palma City Council for having “failed” to comply with the environmental laws governing the treatment of toxic waste and pollution in a protected area.
The area in question is ses Fontanelles to the back of the Playa de Palma which is being developed.
The wet lands are , or were, a protected area until Palma City Council reclassified the area so that it could be built on.
