More power for Capdepera residents

Palma.— Capdepera residents could soon have even more of an active say in the region’s policies after the council announced plans to gather the public’s opinion on local policies via the internet.
Once the region’s final budget talks are concluded this week, and if approved, the new plan could be in place as soon as 1 March.
Capdepera residents could then voluntarily comment on marketing issues and on the implementation of new taxes.
