Palma.—Online travel agent loveholidays.com reports a doubling of sales across its business so far this month compared to 2013, with year on year growth for Portugal topping 850% and significant increases for areas including Egypt (519%), Cyprus (102%) and Tunisia (86%).
Sales to mainland Spain grew 250% whilst Spanish islands set new records: the Balearics soared by 208% and the Canaries grew 214%, loveholidays.com offers an array of Greek Islands’ holidays – 24 including Corfu, Kos, Mykonos and Zante – which delivered 46% growth and Turkey saw a rise in bookings of 75%.
