This year, Binissalem is going to be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the annual Festa des Vermar, the grape harvest festival which includes parades, celebrations, grape-crushing competitions and a wine tasting contest.
And, as a result, the local council wants to celebrate the fiesta’s 50th anniversary in style.
Yesterday, the local council presented all the associations and vineyards involved in the annual event with an outline of the programme for this year’s event for their consideration and in put.
