Massive shopping centre to open in 2016

Plans to build a new super shopping centre in Majorca by 2016 that will create thousands of new jobs were announced yesterday by Unibail Rodamco.

Palma.—The company revealed that it is  willing to invest over 225 million euros in the project that would see Majorca have a new, completely different concept shopping centre.
The idea is to build a “tourism centre” in Ses Fontanelles area. A 200,000 square metre area where visitors could not only shop for groceries but also enjoy going to the cinema equipped with the highest technology, restaurants and shopping for  the best fashion items from top European and International fashion designers
