Hollywood star Baldwin donates thousands to Majorcan foundation

Palma.—Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin and his Majorcan born wife Hilaria have this week donated 62,000 euros to Fundacion Rana, a Majorcan association founded in 2005 to help prevent child abuse in the region.
On the occasion of the birth of their first daughter Carmen Gabriela, the Baldwins were offered that considerable amount of money by People magazine to publish the first photograph of their new born and decided the money should be channeled to the foundation. “Our daughter is a lucky girl,” the Baldwins said.
