Palma.—Dog owners in Soller have been warned. Those who fail to remove their pet’s excrement from the street and place it in the appropriate containers could be fined 300 euros.
The local council feel s its previous warnings have fallen on deaf ears and yesterday confirmed that after fining over 70 citizens over the last six months enough is enough.
Most who were caught were fined 70 euros but Environment councillor Joan Ruiz confirmed authorities will now punish those caught with the maximum penalty permitted by law, 300 euros.
