British artist Rachel Grimshaw will be presented today with the “Marratxi land of pottery” award for her sandstone and iron oxide piece “Black Lift”, winner of the second highest prize in the fifth edition of the Marratxi International Ceramic Convention. The exhibition, which will include 21 other ceramic pieces, and the ceremony starts at 1pm in the local s’Escorxador.
